Shrook 2 Preview
Shrook 2 is on the way very soon, and will be a free upgrade to current users. It has been rewritten from the ground up and features all this new functionality:
- Smart groups
- Preliminary Atom v0.3 support
- Item bodies previewed in list view
- Brand new interface
- Channels are now organized by non-exclusive groups rather than hierarchal folders
- Distinguishes between new and old unread items
- Mark items for later
- Back/forward history
- Support for <textInput> (via the search box) and <slash:comments>
- More columns, configurable per-channel
- Fully customizable fonts
- Contextual menus
- Approx. 30 times faster saving and quitting
There is now a preview version available for download. Compared to the final release, it lacks synchronization, iPod export, dock icon badging, MacOS X 10.2 compatibility, and Channel Guide access. Some other features are incomplete or not fully tested. It is recommended you continue using v1.33 while trying out this preview. All feedback is welcome. Preview expires March 9th 2004.
