Shrook registration bug in Tiger
It seems Apple have changed one the tools Shrook uses to validate registrations at startup, and so a registered copy will no longer appear registered after upgrading. You also aren't able to re-enter a valid code, or validate a new one. The fix for this will be incorporated into v2.2, which I'm just finishing off now. Sorry for any inconvenience in the mean time.
Apart from that, I don't think there are any other compatibility issues.

Just grabbed 2.2 (v98) via Shrook's autoupdate, and it doesn't recognise that I had previously registered :(
Also, can't find my rego mail so am no unregistered.
I'm still on Panther, BTW.-- Tim, May 11th, 2005 12:25 AM.
same here - I had my registration email, which did work, but it seems like a bug. Also, as long as I'm commenting, why can't I edit a smart group after I create it?-- Gabe, May 11th, 2005 4:25 AM.
Just got 2.2. It came up unregistered but I found and put my registration # in and it took it without any complaints (Still on Panther). But now on startup and then about every 5 minutes I get a screen asking if I want to Delete 5 channels and the following:
Synchronization will remove 5 channels. Click No to cancel this action and leave them intact.
So I click NO and then in another 5 minutes it does the same again.
I have gone to the Shrook.com site and logged in but still doing the same. How do I get it to leave the channels alone and quit doing this?
No other problems.

Tim: Email me and I'll find your code for you
Gabe: The registration has be changed slightly to get it working on Tiger. The change affects Panther users too. I apologize. You can edit smart groups by selecting Get Info on them.
Dave: See the new post about v2.2 issues.
