Thrupp v1.3 released
It's always been a but fiddly to locate songs to copy in Thrupp. I've been thinking of adding a search box, and a browser. But I was playing with NetTunes a few weeks ago and decided to rip off its best feature. Instead of recreating iTunes within Thrupp, I've made it so you can use the actual real iTunes to locate music to copy. Just drag it onto the main Thrupp window, and it'll be copied.
One snag I hit is that iTunes provides zero useful information to Thrupp when you drag artists or albums from the Browser at the top of iTunes. Thrupp has to run an Applescript that pokes and prods iTunes to find which songs you dragged over. It's a bit hacky, but it does work. This doesn't affect dragging songs or playlists.
The next version of Thrupp will be rejigged so this is the only way to choose which songs copy, which should go a long way to tidying up the interface.
