beta.shrook.com
God knows why it's taken so long, but the new shrook.com site is ready to test here. It's more or less finished, but I am planning to tweak the colouring slightly, and the are a few performance problems to work out, but overall this is it. If it freezes up or goes wrong, just hit the browser refresh button, and let me know what happened.
It features a proper AJAXy browser interface, a lot like the real Shrook, and it updates automatically. The eventual plan is that the desktop and web versions will converge on the same interface. One new feature is a proper HTML filter to stop sites stealing your password or messing things up. You hopefully won't notice it, the only obvious thing it removes that it shouldn't is embedded Flash (ie YouTube videos), while I work out the security implications. Another new thing is access to archived items, rather than just the current ones. No keyboard navigation yet, but it is planned.
Obviously there's scope for adding lots more new features, so use the comments or email me.
